Since we began precious metal supplier business and opened our first store in a local region in 2009, we have expanded our business and opened 80 stores for 3 years. We are now targeting to open more than 200 stores in 2013, then expand our business in Asian nations within the next 2 years.

Always focus on reinforcing business infrastructure.

We are always focusing on the reinforcement of our business infrastructure to transcend Today’s BEATRICE. This means to develop organization, information, cash-flow, logistics, equipment and facilities.
Along with the business development, we also worked on the reinforcement of operation foundation by repeated investment on infrastructure and its innovations. We especially focused on training appraisers, key persons of our stores and updating a strategic POS system. All this enabled to achieve well-developed data accumulation and analysis, information sharing, precise and strategic store management, quick decision making and improved services to maintain active store development.

Our business grew not only because we reinforced business infrastructure. Main reasons of our growth are that we sought true needs from our customers, provide the best and quickest services, and made the customers and residents in local areas happy. All of them were the engine of our business growth. BEATRICE’s service is not to provide actual products, but to provide services that we cannot see. This is not quite the same as outsourced services. We take precious metal supplying business as the services that stimulates the recovery and cycle of goods and money. Converting our customers’ memorable goods into the next memories is the recovery of goods. Our stores are spread from all over Japan through Asia with unique services and store development.

Foster highly skilled appraisers and promptly open stores.

Precious metal supplying business is also BEATRICE’s core business. We operate BEATRICE; the stores specialized in precious metal purchase all over Japan, and currently have 94 stores (as of Jan., 2013). We also developed our business footprints in East/South Asia such as China, Thai, Singapore and Indonesia by creating business models align with local demands.
Stores are promptly opened after detailed research by regional strategic team and utilizing accumulated data and unique store development know-how. There are almost 80 stores opened over the last 3 years from the start of the business.
Our BEATRICE has well-trained appraises and provides services of jewelry valuation and purchases. We especially put efforts in fostering appraisers by holding workshops to develop their expertise and behavioral manners and having supervisors from our headquarters to train them. Our training system is always updated and improved so that we maintain favorable customer services and accurate and precise appraisal.

Change your behavior and thoughts when you don't see any good result.

Albert Einstein said, “Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” You need to think “my idea and method today might not be right” and change your behavior and thoughts by improving and reassessing your existing ideas in order to prevent same mistakes. Result would be different.

No "Sorry", but productive attitude.

When you made mistakes and bothered people around you, only saying “sorry” does not resolve everything even though your sincere attitude is appreciated. Next word you need to say should be productive which explains how to address the problem, the cause of it and prevention measures for next time.

Numbers such as sales result are important. But it is just an index. Don’t be so emotional by the fluctuation of numbers, but consider how your behavior gave the impact to the numbers. If the numbers went down, it is important for you to think how you should see and behave from its result. Number is a result. The key is your behavior and thoughts to generate the result.

Don't hesitate to "ask".
Never work without understanding it.

It can be very rude towards your work and customers to hesitate to ask something you need to learn. Doing your job without enough understanding its role can be irresponsible manner because you are looking down your customers with inappropriate attitude. Please do ask anything you don’t know to find solutions even though you might feel it embarrassing due to the pride. Nobody looks down even if you ask something.

Interview with all candidates in each region.
Final employment notification after the interview by a responsible staff in Tokyo office.
★West Japan to directly allocate staff in each office

★East Japan to provide basic training called RPI (Role Playing Instruction) supervised by HR Management.

*Accommodations (hotel or dormitory), commuting fee during the training will be fully covered by the company. Salary will be paid as well.

Position and job description
1. <Area manager>
Store management in responsible areas.

2. <Store staff>
Appraisement of precious metal and customer service
*Complaisant training is supplied to inexperienced beginners.
*Please ask us at an interview for detailed requirements for each position.
Employment status

Permanent or part-time

Working hours 10am – 7pm(can be different depends on location of stores)
Compensation Permanent employee
★Area manager (Candidate)
Monthly salary: JP¥200,000 - JP¥400,000
To be decided by evaluation of Store location, skill and experience.

Part-time employee
★Store staffs
Hourly salary: 900 yen to 950 yen
*Depends on location of stores, upper limit of salary can be higher.
Day off / Holiday Day off: Depends on your working shift (about 9 days in a month)
Holidays: Summer/New Year Holiday and dates assigned by company
Total annual days of holidays: 115days(year 2014)
Special leave like wedding, funeral, maternity, nursing, etc.,
Required qualification Driver’s license
Allowance ・Commuting allowance (Actual commuting fee)
Up to 24,500 yen/month for commuting by car and up to 30,000yen/month for commuting by public transportation can be covered.
・Perfect attendance allowance(for part time employees only)
Benefit package ・Social/health insurances for all employees
・Allow commuting by car (depends on the region)
・Provide accommodation for single resident(depends on regions).
・Bonus can be paid according to business performance.
・Retirement package.
Skills and experiences 1. Area Manager(Candidate)
Candidates with experience of store manager, area manager, supervisor are highly appreciated.

2. Store staffs
Open for inexperienced
Highly appreciate experience of customer service or sales
Employment term No limit ( for both permanent or part time employees)
Notes regarding trial employment ・Term of trial employment : 3 months(can be extended or shortened)
・Hourly salary of ¥900 - ¥950 is paid to permanent employee of store staffs during the trial employment term
・There is no change of salary payment to area manager or part time employees during the trial employment term.
